Not really much to update here, still pregnant :) Still growing :) We are over halfway to the finish line which is really, really, exciting! I don't think I've ever been this eager to cuddle my baby. Maybe it's because this is the longest I've ever been without a newborn in 5 years and I want some baby snuggles :) Or maybe it's because pregnancy seems to be harder on my body with each passing year...I'm thirty this time baaaaaaaaaahhhhh. I keep reminding myself that this may be my last pregnancy and to soak up all the wiggles, kicks and cravings because they really are so special!
Eat...Speaking of cravings...dear Lord my love for cocoa puffs is out.of.control. Like I go through at least two boxes a week. I seriously can not get enough of them and I am SO not a cereal person :) I also went on a streak of eating Clausen's zesty bread & butter pickles (thanks Aunt Jenny!). After I finished a jar in two days the craving seemed to subside haha. Otherwise I am not craving much but am hungry all the time. By my last appointment at 20 weeks I was up 11 lbs and I can't say I'm looking forward to my 24 weeks weigh in this week. No matter what the scale says I swear I will keep calm and blame the cocoa puffs ;)
Sleep...I get really tired in the afternoon but since I no longer live in a "napping" household I have to suck it up until bedtime. I am always ready for bed once the girls are down but if Toby is working late I try to stay up until he gets home. It is SO hard some nights though ;) I sleep great at night and wake up feeling great so I really can't complain.
Health...I have been feeling pretty good most days. I did try and stop taking my diclegis at night and was left throwing up several times the next day SOOO I decided to keep taking it. Other than the rare wave of nausea and some mild headaches here and there all is well in pregnancy land.
Life...Starting to get adjusted to the idea of life with three kiddies :) We've cleaned out the nursery and have started loading some clothes into his closet. It is so strange to buy blue and man people aren't kidding when they say that girls clothes are so much cuter! Our little guy has a middle name but verdict is still out on a first name. We have a few names we like but for some reason we just can't commit to a name this time! Gracen told her BSF teacher that the baby's name was Sam (not on the list) so I guess she has a favorite name ;) We think we may just take a few names to the hospital and see what our little guy looks like ;) But I don't know what we would do if he didn't end up looking like any of them...eek. We did go ahead and buy a big new family car for our growing family. So slowly but surely we are getting ready for our little bub. I'm thankful for 4 more months to prepare!
So that is what I've been up to this pregnancy. Feeling incredibly excited to have another sweet baby and the girls are oh so excited to have a baby around the house :)
