Gracen's Last Day of PreK3

Friday was Gracen's last day of PreK3!  She has loved going to school and playing with her friends.  She has learned so much from her sweet teachers.  She knows all her shapes, numbers & letters, can write & spell her name and has started to spell simple words.  Her speech is improving everyday and she goes to speech once a week.  Our little wild woman is growing up so fast!

She looks so much bigger to me than she did on the first day of school.  Of course, it could be those THREE inches she grew since August :)

We are so thankful for our sweet Gray and her big sweet smile!  Here is a side by side of the first & last day.  One down, one to go in our house :)  Happy SUMMER!

Hayes Robert...Ten months old

Oh Hayes man...how has 10 months already passed??!  I can't believe we are already in the double digit months.  I mean wasn't I just pregnant?  It truly goes so fast and we have loved every single thing about this age with our big guy.

Measurements:
Height:  30 inches (80th percentile)
Weight:  24 lbs (90th percentile)

Eating:
Nothing new really to report here.  He gets between 24-32 ounces of formula a day.  He likes a big bottle (8 ounces) when he wakes up and a big one before bed.  The other two are smaller (between 4-6 ounces).  He gets oatmeal & bananas for breakfast (I've tried mixing other fruits in and he just doesn't like it as much...creature of habit already...such a guy).  For lunch it is usually a yogurt, or applesauce, shaved deli meat, and some cheese.  For snacks he has cheerios, puffs, crackers, graham crackers, cheese or whatever else we have in the pantry (poor third baby).  At dinner he eats what we are eating as long as it isn't full of seasoning or spicy.  He loves spaghetti noodles, mandarin oranges, ham, turkey, mashed potatoes, rice, chicken, eggs, bananas, green beans, carrots, zucchini...you name it, he will eat it, haha.  He loves sitting at the table with us and eating dinner.  Our little family of five (my heart is FULL).

Sleeping:
Sleep this month has been a little challenging.  He got two new teeth this month and has had his allergies and asthma flare up so I am sure that's why.  Generally he goes to bed at 8 and sleeps until 6 am when he gets a bottle and falls back asleep until 8.  But, 1-2 nights a week he has been waking around 3 am (and sometimes at midnight too).  I try and not go to him unless he is full on crying.  If he is whimpering but still laying down I just watch him on the monitor.  But, if he is full on crying or sitting/standing in the crib I have to go in and get him settled.  He is so sweet at night. He loves standing in his crib.  He won't stay asleep long at all without his sound machine (it is our baby MUST HAVE).

Personality:
He is Mr. Personality these days.  Belly laughing, giving kisses, waving bye-bye & HI, dancing, wiggling, clapping, throwing balls/toys, imitating our sounds, he is growing up.  I seriously could watch him dance all day long.  I just can't get enough.

He loves to push his walker around the room and will pull up on anything and walk around.  He will walk all around our sectional (holding on) and then will find something close to pull up on.  He is a very busy guy.

Details:
He is into EVERYTHING.  The dishwasher, tv remotes, iPhones and cabinets are his items of choice.    He loves to swing outside or ride in his push car. We went to the splash park this week and he loved all the people watching he got there.  He also loved the park swings.

He also likes to open and shut doors and if you leave him in a room he will crawl over to the door and shut it and then sit behind it screaming.  But since he's sitting behind it, it is difficult to open haha.  He is a brute!

Siblings:
The girls still adore him but they don't really enjoy him getting into all of their toys when they are playing with them.  Lei will set up her dollhouse exactly how she wants it and Hayes will crawl over as fast as he can and destroy it.  He does the same thing with Gracen's magformer creations or block towers.  I hear, "Um MOMMY, we need a little help in here..." at least a handful of times a day.  Baby bully.  They both love playing with him (with HIS toys haha) and holding him.  They give him lots of kisses and like to argue over who he likes more.

Sibling Stats:
Hayes is the biggest, no surprise there.  But none of our kids have been small lol.  I was really small as a kid and Toby was super skinny so I guess small & skinny create big & tall ;))

Leighton's Measurements:
Height: 28.5 inches (75th percentile)
Weight: 21.8 lbs (90th percentile)

Gracen's Measurements:
Height: 29.5 inches (90th percentile)
Weight: 23.5 lbs (95th percentile)

A picture of the big sisters at 10 months. Hayes looks more like a baby Leighton but acts more like a baby Gracen.   Leighton was SO serious and Gracen was so smiley.  He is a perfect combo of both :)

and one of Hayes to compare...

Month 10 with our Hayes man in one word...personality!  This dancing machine, giggle butt, smiley, love bug has truly stolen our hearts forever!
