She tip toed into my room bright and early with her school clothes in hand and her ballet shoes on haha. I guess she thought today was THE day all of her new activities were starting. She is so dang cute.
She wanted to sleep in sponge rollers for her first day and we painted her nails. She was ready. She ran downstairs and grabbed her backpack and was ready to GO! She was very excited for that backpack :)
When we pulled into Leighton's carpool she shrieked and said, "Dis is not MY school, dis is May-May's school!" Haha nothing gets past this one ;) I explained to her Leighton gets dropped off first and then her! I got a little teary watching her walk off with her teacher at carpool. Man, these chickies are growing up too fast! Seeing her with her hands on her backpack straps marching into school was almost too much cuteness to handle. Gah I LOVE HER!
After I dropped her off it was SO quiet in the car. I kept feeling like I was forgetting something haha. I am not used to no girlie chatter in the car :) Thank goodness I had this little man to keep me company all morning!
Three hours later this little curly-headed princess hopped into the car grinning from ear to ear. When I asked her how her first day was she smiled & gave me thumbs up. Watch out PreK...Gracen girl is on the loose :)
