Life with three...

I have three kids. I still can't fully grasp it. I don't feel mature enough to be a Mom sometimes and yet here I am raising three precious little souls. I just pray I am doing it ok. I spend a lot of time in prayer these days ;)

Leighton Layne made me a mother. FIVE years ago! I have a five year old, a kindergartner. A loyal, fun loving lady with a smile that could brighten any day. She's cautious, a rule follower, a planner and a natural born leader. A TRUE first born.

She's dramatic at times, moody and diva-ish but there is no doubt that she has a heart of gold. She loves to help people and she always roots for the underdog. She loves music and dancing, mostly to Michael Jackson or Taylor Swift.

She is the best big sister and loves her sister and brother. She is so motherly. She is Gracen's biggest cheerleader and Hayes' second mother ;) She wants to be a baby nurse in the hospital when she grows up.

Leighton was our guinea pig baby. We had no clue what we were doing and I'm sure we made more mistakes than we could count. But one thing is for sure...we were smitten with her the second we laid eyes on her and fall more in love with her everyday.

Next, came Gracen. A ball of energy that burst into our world with a bang! Our little firecracker through and through! She's full of giggles, cuddles and kisses and has a sensitive soul. She has a million dollar smile.

She's eager to please and loving but isn't afraid to speak her mind. Her favorite word at times is NO! She also loves singing and dancing but is more into princesses & Disney than pop culture ;) She loves ballet and wearing dresses and LOVES when her hair is curly.

She's a great friend and sister and is always willing to share her toys, even her most favorite things. She would give you the shirt off her back if you needed it or asked. She is gentle and caring, especially with animals. She wants to be a veterinarian when she grows up :)

Gracie girl, our second born. We had more of a clue what parenting was all about by the time she arrived. Her addition into our lives was an added blessing and parenting this firecracker has been a wild ride ;)

Now we have Hayes. Our first boy and baby. A baby finale??? We think so. His blue eyes light up our world. He's an easy baby, maybe because he's easy going, but maybe because we have finally realized that parenting is a journey. A wonderful season. Getting it perfect is impossible but enjoying it is essential. We are definitely enjoying this little guy...

Our serious little man who shares his grins and coos with us more and more everyday. Our hearts just burst for this chubby monkey. Our Bubba.

And then there were three...three little blondies. All different in personality and character but all loved more than I ever thought possible.

My babies. My three kiddos. A lucky Mama am I :)
