I am in no way a sports fanatic except when it comes to Kentucky basketball. I may not know all the rules of the game (or any really haha) but I do know how to cheer and I love the CATS with my whole heart. Today it feels great to be a Wildcat :)
My sister and her boyfriend came over and we all acted like fools. Okay maybe they acted like normal fans and Toby and I acted like fools ;) It was a great game with a great ending. I'm so happy none of us had a heart attack though my fingernails are officially gone!
I hated that Leighton didn't get to watch the game. It was a school night and sweet girl needs her beauty rest in order to function the next day :) She loves cheering for Koo-Kay and talks about da CATS all the time. Both my precious girls slept through all the excitement that was going on downstairs. I still had to document their first UK basketball title!
After Kylee and Matt headed home Toby and I were too excited to sleep. Our friend Tucker stopped by and we kept the celebration going. This morning I was pretty tired but it was oh so worth it.
Even though our princesses couldn't celebrate the WIN they proudly sported their true blue gear all day long. These girls are die hard fans in the making and we wouldn't have it any other way :)
8pril is shaping up to be a pretty great month and we're only three days in. So far I found out one of best friends is having a baby girl (love you B!!!), UK won the title and Leighton got a STAR at school! We are all on cloud 8 and loving every second!
