15 months!

Sweet little Gracen girl is quickly growing up before our eyes. Quickly losing her baby touches and quickly becoming our (second) busy toddler. 15 months down and she is still as feisty, lovable, energetic and perfect as ever :)

Weight: 26 lbs (85th percentile)
Length: 32 inches (90th percentile)

We are blessed she was given a perfect bill of health at her well baby checkup this week. Here are 15 things about our Gracen girl at 15 months...

1. She is a great sleeper these days. Sleeps from 7:30 at night until 8:00 or 8:30 in the morning. Takes one afternoon nap for about two hours. Our growing girl needs a lot of rest these days.

2. Says Mama, Dada, more (mo), milk (may-may), up, bye-bye, thank you (dank u), night-night, tickle-tickle, ohhh and babbles in full sentences. Too bad no one knows what she is saying ;)

3. Regularly signs up, more, milk, thank you and please. Working on book, cold, no and all done.

4. Shakes her head yes and no when you ask her questions. If you can't figure out what she wants she will shake her head no until you suggest what she is wanting and then you get a big nod YES! Makes it pretty easy to figure out what she wants.

5. Loves books. Brings them to me all day long and climbs up in my lap to listen. Loves to turn the pages and point to the pictures.

6. Loves to eat and will bring me her bib to put on when she's hungry haha. She likes to sit at her little table and chairs in our kitchen with her big sis. Will be packing up the highchair soon! Favorite foods are blueberries, nutrigrain bars, mini muffins, mac and cheese, grilled cheese, toast, yogurt and goldfish. She is really into dipping right now. Chicken nuggets in ranch and crackers in hummus. It is amazing how neat she is with eating. She HATES for her hands to be dirty!

7. Has 10 teeth and the sweetest little smile.

8. Loves to play with baby dolls just like big sis. Also loves to color (scribble), have tea parties and play with dishes and food in her kitchen.

9. Sleeps with her afghan blanket my great aunt made her and her lullaby nightlight seahorse. She loves to cuddle with her seahorse while she falls asleep.

10. Is a wild woman! Loves to rough house with her Daddy and practice somersaults with her big sis. She can jump and is working on climbing up the stairs without crawling. I swear she thinks she's 3.5 like Leighton. Slow down baby Gray!

11. Is so gentle with our Christmas trees (yes ALL of ours are up!) and doesn't bother them at all which has surprised me. She loves looking at the ornaments on the tree in her room and walks up and points to them so slowly.

12. Sits in the pink chair she got for her birthday all day everyday and is very territorial about it. If Leighton sits in it she runs over and shrieks until Leighton gives up and moves. I think Santa will be bringing them matching chairs this year haha.

13. Follows directions so good. Loves to help throw things away, shut doors, get her shoes or coat, find her milk cup and will go sit by the door if you tell her it's time to go bye-bye.

14. Loves music and claps her hands and dances when she hears it playing. We have three more music classes left and she has enjoyed listening to the music and being around her friends. Planning to move on to gymnastics next semester haha.

15. When she is in a cuddly mood she loves to be rocked and held. Otherwise she is go, go, go all day long.

We love her to the moon and back! She has added so much love and laughter to our family. More than I ever thought possible.
