We had a great holiday season. Just loving life back in Lexington :) I am back tracking a bit here haha but here are a few pics from Thanksgiving. My babies are getting so big! And we have SO much to be thankful for.
Gracen started soccer in the fall and we couldn't believe how well she did. The child has a true competitor's heart. She's also doing ballet which she loves. She loves preschool and is just a little social butterfly.
Hayes started preschool one day a week and loves it. He is currently obsessed with basketball or "shoots" as he calls it and says he is going to play soccer next year. Such a big guy!
Leighton just loves second grade and we couldn't be happier at her new school. She played fall soccer again (and did great) but I think she's ready to take a season off this spring. She's playing basketball right now (her favorite sport) and just started back to Flip & Hop.
My three sweet kiddos. Hayes totally runs our household. He kind of knows he is the boss too lol.
Sweet sisters. Best friends and the bringers of the drama. They are either obsessed with each other or fighting. There is no in between. We just say they're passionate.
After Thanksgiving, it feels like we literally blinked and it was already Christmas. Gracen kicked off our holiday season with her winter recital. She was a beautiful ballerina. I still can't believe how tall she is. 46 inches and counting at this point. Long and lean just like her Daddy.
She was so excited for her show. Unlike her big sister, she loves to be the center of attention and for people to yell and cheer for her. She is always happy to pose for my million pictures :)
I love that she has an activity she loves that is all her own. She loves fixing her hair and make up and wearing skirts to twirl in. She is totally our little princess!
December was a fun month, we decorated very early this year and we were in the Christmas spirit from the start! Of course, we wore lots of Christmas clothes and I occasionally remembered to snap a pic :)
Leighton is not really big on matching (or wearing bows) anymore but I did manage to get her to match Gracen for church. I think I will insist on one sister outfit each Christmas season until they're 40!
Speaking of matching....have you ever seen two cuter toddlers? Watching these boys grow up is one of my favorite things.
I will also insist on one matching bro pic each season until they're 40.
And finally, when UK plays Louisville during the Christmas season you have to represent somehow. It was a tough loss but we still bleed blue for life :)
That gets you up to date for December. I think Christmas needs its very own post :) Stay tuned...
