Since we have a great camera and beautiful scenery basically in our backyard (or down the street) I was willing to give it a try! Toby was such a good sport and I'm so thankful he was willing to play along. We ended up getting some great shots and I am so happy!
When we got to the park we realized someone had forgotten to put the battery back in the camera. Oops! Sooo, while that someone went back home to retrieve said battery (thankful our house is just around the corner), Toby stayed behind with the girls and took a few practice shots with his phone. It was an awesome start!
When I got back I was happy to find both girls were smiling and cooperating for Daddy. I know how quickly these two can turn from happy to grumpy! We both knew time was ticking, we got the camera ready and got down to business :)
How precious are my darlings? They were both in great moods even though we cut it close to their bedtimes. I couldn't have been more pleased with the results.
Toby got me a tripod and remote for my camera as part of my Mother's Day gift so I was excited to get back out and try to get some more shots. This morning I got both girls ready and we all headed back to the park. The sun was much brighter since it was earlier in the day but I still think we captured some great moments. Oh how I love these two!
This is just a glimpse of what we took! We have over 300 shots total. Whew! The best part about taking them ourselves is that we DON'T have to narrow them down. Fun family times for FREE!
