Happy Mother's Day

There are so many times where I find myself wondering what I ever did right enough to be blessed with two perfect little girls. People can tell you what it's going to be like when you're a mom but nothing will prepare you for the moment they place your baby in your arms for the first time. No baby book can describe and no amount of advice can fathom what that moment is like.

Being a Mom is the most rewarding, overwhelming, challenging, loving, fun job I've ever had. My girls are my biggest teachers and the absolute complete lights of my life. I am so lucky. When I think I've got it all figured out they humble me and let me know I still have SO much to learn. Thank you to my babies for always loving me regardless of the many mistakes I make along this parenting journey. Their unconditional love fills me up and then some.

Happy Mother's Day to all the special women in my life but especially my Mom for being the best Mom in the entire world and now my best friend, and my Mother-in-Law for raising a son that is not only a wonderful husband but the best father I could ever dream of for my girls.

No matter how many times I pinch myself, this really IS my life and is a dream one at that. Two little girls call me Mama. Truly blessed.
