Can you believe how big they look???? Gracen is wearing the dress Leighton wore on Easter two years ago. These girls are growing up way too fast! They look SO big. Love them so.
When I got home from church Toby and I started watching "The Ten Commandments" on tv since the girls were taking a late nap. Once they woke up, they started watching too. Toby and I both fell asleep on the couch near the end and Leighton woke us up when it was over haha. She lasted until the end. Guess she is a fan of Moses :)
Sunday morning the girls woke up to their filled baskets from the Easter bunny. This year the bunny was extremely last minute, oops. They both ended up with some matching PJs, DVDs, filled eggs and some candy. They loved their goodies.
Apparently Lei really likes to wear this blue tshirt on Easter morning. Here she is wearing it last year too! Total coincidence but she does love that tshirt (it used to be her cousin Kyle's). So funny. I love these little sleepy heads :)
After some lazying around we got ready to head to Lexington to celebrate Easter with my family and Toby's parents! Toby took a bump pic before we got on the road :) 27 weeks and counting...
We ate a yummy lunch at Grammy & Poppy's and then we headed outside for a little egg hunt for the girls. I must say my girls looked a little like rookies on their hunt. They looked a little more like they were on an egg stroll haha. Next year they'll be ready ;) They were happy to hang out with Uncle Chad before they went to work.

After the hunt we decided to take some family pics. It was such a beautiful, perfect day.

My sister Robyn & her family came over later and the kids rode scooters and played outside all night. We stayed a lot later than we intended and got home wayyyyy past our girls' bedtime haha.
The girls were asleep before we reached the stop sign leaving my parents and never woke up until morning haha. But it was WAY worth it to have a fun, family packed Easter celebrating the hope and joy that comes with the fact that Jesus is ALIVE. Easter Sunday means everything and spending the day with the people I love was just perfect.
