Measurements:
Height: 30.5 inches (90th percentile)
Weight: 25 lbs (97th percentile)
Eating:
Big guy loves to eat. He gets between 30-32 ounces of formula each day and eats breakfast, lunch & dinner in between. His go to foods are yogurt (greek & yobaby), oranges, cheerios, turkey, cheese and puffs. But really he eats little bits of whatever we are eating for each meal.
I've been working on getting him off the bottle and offering formula in a sippy for at least one feeding a day. Unlike my girls, this guy LOVES his bottle and I am trying to make the transition smooth for him. I'll be honest, I am a little worried about taking away his beloved bottle in just a few short weeks!
Sleeping:
He is a great little sleeper these days (Praise the Lord!). He goes to bed about 8 each night and sleeps until his morning bottle (about 7am). Then he will usually fall back asleep until 8:30 or 9am. His naps are a little less predictable. Somedays he will take 2 short naps (11:30 ish & 3ish) and on others he will just take one long nap (1-4pm).
I really just see how he acts and if he seems tired I lay him down for an early nap. If he's playing well and not whiney I wait until the afternoon to lay him down. He is pretty easy going so I just let him call the shots.
Personality:
He is my happy guy. He loves smiling and waving at people (especially women) when we are out in public. I pretty much get stopped everywhere I go because he is smiling and flirting with ladies out shopping. He's a total flirt! He is busy and a tad destructive. He must open all drawers and pull out everything inside. He goes around closing doors and getting into any and everything. He has learned to climb the stairs and keeping him away from them is a full time job (and exhausting). Shew, boys are busy! Much more so than my girls were! He is cautious and observant and loves to people watch. He loves to dance! He wiggles and shakes his booty anytime he hears music. My favorite thing he does :)
Details:
He wear 18-24 months in clothes & size 4 shoes. He can wave hi & bye bye & says "Hi!" when he waves. He babbles and screams and talks all the time. He can blow a kiss, clap his hands and pretends to talk on his play phone haha. He loves balls and toy cars and anything that isn't really a toy (remotes, cell phones, computers, cords, pots, pans...). We took him to the zoo twice this month and he was TERRIFIED of the animals. Like clawing my arms and digging his head into my chest to avoid seeing them. Haha! Especially the gorillas, he was NOT A FAN.
He also does not like the vacuum cleaner or any loud noises. And he doesn't like sitting still for pictures hehe. He walks around the furniture and using his push toy but I haven't seen him try to stand on his own. He has 9 teeth.
Siblings:
The girls are still crazy about him but Gracen really spends the most time playing with him and interacting with him. Leighton is more the mother and Gracen is his buddy. Both are great big sisters! (please excuse Leighton's make up...she went to a pool party after her dance recital haha).

Month 11 with our Hayes man...BUSY! I've used this word to describe other months with him but this month takes the cake! The guy is on the go and into everything. He never, ever, EVER stops moving!
