Sweet Missy

My sweet best friend, Melissa Rae, passed away peacefully Friday night after her two and a half year battle with brain cancer. She fought with grace, determination and courage every step of the way. The cancer may have taken her from us but I promise you that cancer did NOT win against Missy.

I keep praying that I never forget her laugh and I am grasping to every single memory I have of us. I just want everyone to know how wonderful she was and positive and loving and just the perfect best friend that anyone could have asked for. I am so heartbroken but I am also so thankful that I had her. She was truly amazing.

My prayers are for God to show me some reason behind this, be it big or small. I need something to take away from all this pain and heartache that is flooding me. I know God and his unfailing love will prevail but it may take time.

I miss you sweet girl and love you forever and ever.
