Well hello third trimester ;) Oh man, I feel pregnant this time around! Meaning I feel HUGE these days and with two months left to go...OH MY. Good thing there's a pretty big prize at the end :) I passed my glucose test and am now heading to the doctor every other week. We went ahead and scheduled an induction date so the official countdown can begin......
Eat...I am hungry all the time. Like all day, everyday, anytime of the day, I am down to eat. I have tried to limit my sugar because uhhhh hello I don't want to gain a ton but omg I am seriously starving all day long. Lately I'm eating my weight in PBJs & cereal (switched to whole grain bread & multigrain cheerios...my effort to eat better lol). Truthfully there isn't a food out there right now I wouldn't eat (except onions, I WILL NEVER like those grotesque little things...) and my appetite seems to never be satisfied.
Sleep...The nighttime insomnia has started...dum, dum, DUM. Thankfully it is just a couple of hours every night and not so bad...yet! I go to bed exhausted each night but wake up around 2am and can't quite fall back asleep. My body feels tired throughout most of the day but I think my body is actually just sore from growing my third baby in four years. This third time pregnancy thing is no joke!
Health...Im up 21 lbs and can definitely feel it lol. I love wearing maternity leggings and big shirts hehe. I have raided Toby's drawers for his softest tshirts to wear...it's about the comfort people! I've noticed my fingers swell a little through the day, so I have kept my engagement band off and just wear my wedding band. Trying to avoid any ring disasters like I had during my pregnancy with Leighton...(ring cut off anyone??) I had a constant headache this weekend but think it was more allergy related than pregnancy. Not that I'm complaining about this amazing spring weather! I'll take a headache with a side of sunshine please :) Baby boy is a moving machine these days! We are to the point where we can see him move my belly from the outside which the girls think is hilarious. Our little guy kicked Amos when he was on my lap and Amos was so freaked out haha. My back pain comes and goes but all things considered I feel pretty good :)
Life...We've started getting his little nursery ready. We've hung curtains, framed prints and picked out fabric for his bedskirt & accent pillows. It's coming along but far from finished. I get asked all the time if we have a name...the answer is still no ;) We have a few names on our list we like but none that I absolutely love...and then there are some names we like but know people who have boys with the name and you know how that goes...and then we have names we like but people have thrown out opinions on and then we don't like so much...SO it's a process. We are definitely keeping the final name to ourselves until he is born but he is far from having a final name ;) His middle name is set in stone. For now we are calling him "baby no name" or "dan" :) The girls are getting excited about meeting their baby. Leighton says she can't wait to hold him and kiss him and Gracen says she is going to sing "Lullaby" to him. Sweet big sisters :)
