It was a great last game. Lei scored a goal! She really loves soccer and wants to play forever she says :) She actually decided that she ONLY wants to play soccer and do gymnastics. That means no more dance next year. I'm proud of her for choosing on her own what she likes and enjoys to play. Soccer chick for life ;)
After the game we got on the road! Toby was working so we had to leave him behind with the dogs :( That night, Lei and I headed to my friend Monica's wedding. It was a beautiful ceremony and an adorable outside reception. Fun night with my girlfriends I don't get to see nearly enough!
We were also SO excited to see Baby M again :) The last time we got to visit with him he was six weeks old. His Mommy and my BF Monica (not the bride hehe) live in Columbus and we don't get to cuddle with him enough. Loved soaking up some baby M time. He is the cutest! Lei was thrilled that she got to hold him too. Driving home that night she said her favorite part was holding him TWO times. She truly can't wait for her brother to get here!
Lei loved the baby cuddles but she also loved the chocolate cake. Sugar bug for sure!!!
On Sunday, the girls and I headed to their cousin, Lyla's, birthday party. It was a bounce party at an inflatables place. Lyla had an Elsa cake, it was so cute. Any chance to eat cake is fine with my girls :)
The girls had a great time at the party. Gracen would FLY down the huge slide and she thought it was hilarious! Sweet accident prone Leighton did get injured (surprise, surprise). She got hit with a thick foam bat in the cheek and it left a pretty big bruise :( But it doesn't look like it's going to turn into a black eye so we should be all good by preschool graduation pictures lol :) She was a trooper and still played after her injury. The girls sure do love their cousin Lyla! She is pretty great!
It was a great weekend and we're back on the road again next weekend but with a much warmer destination...the beach!!! But first I have to get through preschool graduation without totally losing it. I have been SO emotional about Lei graduating and moving on to kindergarten. I just can't believe my first baby is growing up SOOO fast.
