Happy Halloween!

We've been living up the Halloween season in our house. We've been busy!

Last weekend we had a visit from Grammy so Toby and I could go to our annual friend Halloween party. As what? Clark Kent in action and a robber! Doesn't Toby make a good Clark??

The girls/wives at the party chatted all night long about everything under the sun. We laughed so much my cheeks hurt. It was a fun night!

Sunday morning we all headed to church (minus Toby :( he headed to work for a few hours...boo). I put the girls in their apple outfits for the first time and Gracen's BARELY fit her! Oops. They sure are cute though ;)

After church we had a special visit from some of our besties ;) Leighton will NEVER pass up a chance to hang with "Baby Elaina" :) There was lots of playing, yummy food, football watching and maybe even a little wine :) Not to mention the adorable baby cuddles from sweet Caroline. Being around her did nothing to cure my baby fever. In fact, I think it's spreading...

Monday, Leighton had her Halloween party at dance class. She insisted on being something different than Wonder Woman soooo we pulled out her dress up clothes and she decided to go as Mulan! Pretty darn cute ;)

That night we carved pumpkins! Gracen was excited until it came time to actually pull the guts out. Then, off she ran to hide. She is not a fan of Halloween haha.

Leighton is a Halloween fan! She was all about the carving and pulling out the guts. This was the first year she actually would touch the guts. Growing up ;)

Daddy was called in for the actual carving :) Leighton really wanted ET but Daddy didn't think he could do it without a stencil SOO she decided Batman would be fine. Daddy even threw in the logo :)

Tuesday was Gracen's favorite day! We watched Curious George: A Halloween Boo Fest. The girl loves some Curious George. Leighton was a great Big Sis and watched with her too. They love doing things together.

Wednesday was Leighton's Halloween party at school and again she insisted on another costume. This time she was a zebra :) Halloween fashionista!

That afternoon the girls got a special treat in the mail from Grammy & Poppy... SUPERHERO capes and masks. You can imagine how happy they were. They wanted my to pretend to be a robber so they could catch me and throw me in jail ;)

All of that fun leads us to today...HALLOWEEN! But, since stormy weather has postponed our trick or treat until tomorrow night, our little family is planning a Halloween night indoors. Picnic lunch, soup, smores and our favorite Disney movies to get us ready for our costumes tomorrow :)

Happy Halloween! Next up...Merida and Cinderella make their Louisville debut ;)
