The Full Circle Wedding

So our celebration week ended with the wedding of our two sweet friends, Lauren and Andrew. I went to highschool with both of them and Lauren and I were roommates in college for a year. I think this is the first wedding I've ever been to where I've known both the bride and groom for as long as I can remember. I have so many fun memories with both of them from highschool, to college, until now and the fact that they ended up together forever just warms my heart.

They are two amazing people and it's only fitting that they found their way back to eachother. Their love story is pretty amazing and definitely was a full circle moment in life.

I mentioned we all went to highschool together... Lauren and Andrew were even homecoming dates our sophmore year (I'll spare you the group picture from the night but it is pretty funny).

As time went on they lost touch but ended up rekindling their romance at...our wedding! Lauren's sweet little girl, Brooklyn, was my flower girl. She was four at the time and pretty darn adorable.

Fast forward 5 years (almost to the day) and it was Lauren & Andrew's turn to tie the knot! This time it was my Leighton who was four and was a flower girl. How special is that? And again, a full circle moment. It was such a special night.

Here is my Leighton and Brooklyn (all grown up but just as adorable as ever). Leighton pretty much thinks Brooklyn (Bookin) hung the moon. She was so excited to be a part of her Mama's big day.

When we were driving to the wedding it was pouring rain (like HUGE raindrops). I was a nervous for them since the wedding was an outside event. Once we crossed into the county where the wedding was the rain stopped. Just like that. And the sun was shining. I knew our sweet Missy had something to do with that! I know it! I started crying in the car thinking about her and how much she would have loved to be standing up there with Lauren. She once told Lauren that if her and Andrew ever got married it would be one FUN wedding. Missy was right (when was she not???). It was one fun night.

Lauren had three flowers girls. Ari is our friend Rachel's little girl (Rachel was a bridesmaid) and was so dang adorable too. Look at those flower girl dresses Lauren had a family member make. The girls felt like princesses!

I LOVE this picture of the ring bearer on his Dad's shoulders (his Dad was one of the best men). It looks like it came from Pinterest :) The little Sperry's and striped socks...I die!

Lauren had both of her parents walk her down the aisle which I loved. She was a stunning bride. I love how she is beaming in this picture as she walks down the aisle to her man. Can I just say how much I LOVE weddings!

It was a really sweet ceremony (think I am trying to start a record with how many times I can say "sweet" in one post lol). They each wrote their own vows and they spotlighted each's personality. It was just perfect.

I love this picture of Brooklyn (the Maid of Honor) watching them. I thought she was tearing up. I know how happy she was for this day.

Some more ceremony pictures...I brought my "good" camera and definitely put it to use haha. I was like their paparazzi :)

FIRST KISS as husband and wife! And actually the first time I have EVER calculated a first kiss picture correctly :)

Walking back as husband and wife. Does anyone else see that spot above Lauren's head? I believe that was our Missy, showing us she was there. Oh how we miss her so much.

Another kiss shot timed perfectly. I was two for two that day! Love Lauren's long veil.

Leighton took her flower girl role very seriously. She is all business when it comes to her wedding duties. She LOVES to go to weddings (always has). This week she told her teachers at school, her dance teacher and her soccer coach all about the wedding.

Reception time! Let the real fun begin. (Side note, I took an alarming amount of pictures, people who did not know me may have thought I was the photographer's assistant...or a stalker :/ ). I just couldn't help myself. It was a happy night.

It was so great seeing friends. Andrea and Maher came in from Chicago. They are our big city friends :) Love this lady!

Missy's sisters were there with their families. It was special to see them and hug them and let our babies play together. (Now look who is stealing photos Sarah hehe).

Loved seeing my Monica and her growing baby bump. She is truly glowing and adding a sweet BOY to our group. Can not wait for her and Rob to welcome their little man!

Leighton and Ari loved running around. They make have taken a hundred pics together in the photo booth! So funny! They definitely enjoyed themselves. Even though all of our babies don't get together that often, when they do it's like they don't miss a beat. They danced all night! Ari's brothers are so funny to watch dance. The boys have some rhythm! I just love their Mama too! She is such a supermom!

Toast time! Toby was in charge of photos because Lei had to go potty and his words, "I have NO idea how to take her with that dress!" Haha it was a lot of tulle! This is Becky toasting Lauren and I love the look on Lauren's face. True emotion & happy tears :)

Speaking of Toby, he was there :) He is the best. Still can't believe we have been married for 5 years. Everyday gets better, I love my life partner.

Leighton wanted to spend all of her time with her friends and Lauren haha. I seriously found her holding Lauren's hand, dancing with her and following her around all.night.long. But, I did manage to get her to take a picture with me :) Can't believe how fast my baby keeps growing. She is such a blessing to us!

And even though I could go on and on and ON about how much fun I had at this wedding, I won't ;) Instead I will just leave you with a few more pictures of the fun...

Lauren and Andrew, we could truly not be happier for you two and we are so thankful we got to spend your special day with you both. Thank you for including our little Leighton in your day of love. Your love story is truly amazing.

It's amazing how everything comes full circle back to the way it was always meant to be... -Unknown
