Love Shower

This weekend my Mom and I hosted my cousin, Chelsi's, bridal shower. We decided to have it at a little bed & breakfast . I was so happy to be able to spend time with family and friends and have us all shower my sweet cousin with love and goodies :)

Chelsi decided on a light blue and dark purple for the shower so we basically worked with that for the decor. I made a "kitchen cake" in the colors and used blue and white hydrangeas with little purple flowers and some lilies mixed in. I put the arrangements together the morning of the shower so they would be fresh.

For lunch we had pimento cheese sticks, broccoli soup, club sandwiches and homemade potato chips. Oh my goodness, it was all so yummy!

For dessert we had little petits fours that were so cute! I had my Aunt & Uncle dig up an old picture of Chelsi dressed as a bride to display. I didn't realize until that day that she is actually wearing my Aunt's wedding dress in the picture. How adorable is that? I want to do that with my girls :)

Sweet little Gracen tagged along for the afternoon and was so content watching all the festivities. Leighton stayed behind with her cousins, Kyle & Lyla and had a blast as usual.

It helped that both my Mom "Gaga" and Toby's Mom "Nana" were there with open arms for my bundle.

Chelsi got some great gifts and we are all SO excited to celebrate her big day with her in April. Her and her fiancé Bobby are such an adorable and happy couple. I am so happy they found each other.

We had a local bakery in town make cookies with their monogram on them for favors. We threw on the tags that said, "he put a ring on it" and they were great parting gift for the guests.

I'm happy everything turned out so perfect at the shower but I am most thankful to be a part of this gal's life. She is going to have a wonderful wedding and a lifetime of happiness with her love.

Now if I can just get her to move back to Kentucky from Maryland so we can see each other everyday :)
