Valentine's recap

We had a great Valentine's Day around our house . I remember how I used to loathe this day because it always felt so depressing when I was single but now I love it. Any chance to spoil my little girls and hubs with some love is fun for me. The girls enjoyed their love goodies.

Sweet little Gracen woke up with a mild fever and wasn't feeling too good all day :( She managed to give us a little smile. Sweet lovie.

Leighton was super happy with all the candy cupid left her. We are working with her on trying some new smiles these days. Preferably ones where she keeps her eyes open and shows her sweet dimples. She hasn't quite got the hang of it yet. Only a few days left until sister pictures. We will keep working on it :)

Toby made us coffee crusted filets on our Holland grill and augratin potatoes from scratch. It was all delicious. We exchanged goodies the night before because we can NEVER wait. I got some flowers and my favorite kind of candle, a Woodwick and Tobe got a dress shirt. Nothing extravagant but it was fun to exchange goodies and read our sweet cards to each other. Hard to believe this is our sixth Valentine's Day together and our fourth as a married couple. Time flies when you're having fun :) Having a great day like today makes all those depressing single Valentine's Days worthwhile. xoxo
