Last night he tried to finally prove me wrong by arranging a blind taste test. He promised if I could correctly identify all four sodas he would give me $100 but the main goal was to identify the Coke. I am never one to pass up a bet (when you're married all money is technically equal but somehow a bet feels like I'm taking his money!) so I was more than up for the challenge. Not to mention I was more than confident in my ability to identify my drink of choice.
He poured the soda in little cups and each were identified on the bottom of the paper by symbols he had used to represent each brand (just in case there was ANY chance I could read through the paper and upside-down...he is crazy).
I stayed in the other room while he set everything up. Then I came in and smelled them all. I could IMMEDIATELY tell which one was the Coke...by scent alone! My challenge was to get all four correct! (Please excuse my grossness, I may not have showered before the challenge).
It took me a few minutes because the last two tasted similar and I was determined to get it right on my first try. After a quick drink of water (to cleanse the palette) I was ready to give my final answer.

CORRECT!
#1 was the generic Coke, #3 was Pepsi and #4 was RC. Correct, correct, CORRECT! Haha Toby was amazed, he never thought I could do it! I was so happy to prove to him that first, Coke is SO much better than the others and second, they do NOT taste anything alike!

Yes, I am VERY aware we are dorks. But today, this dork $100 richer!
