Naming a baby is hard! Finding a name that you and your husband can agree on is even harder! We had Leighton's name picked out when we were still engaged. Good thing too because we found out we were pregnant with her about a month into our marriage :) This time around, we tried for several months for a second baby...very planned...but never had a name in mind.
Now that we know she is a SHE we are stumped for names. Well...that's not entirely true, I have a name I love but can't get Toby on board and he has a name he loves but can't get me on board (I'm nowhere near the loading dock-lol).
I feel like I can't start shopping (err monogramming which is what I really want to do) until I get a name set in stone.
I have been bugging family and friends relentlessly for names but can't find any that just feel like the "one." I want something that is unique but not odd and one that goes well with Leighton and has a special meaning.
Here is what we know about baby girl #2 so far...
1. She's a cuddler like her sister...
2. She's modest like her Daddy...
She's hiding her face with her little teeny tiny hand (see all 5 sweet fingers)
3. She's a talker like her Mama...
4. She's an active kicker...
See long legs
Sooooooo, if you have any name suggestions that are unique, but not odd, sound good with Leighton, have a special meaning and sound suitable for a sweet cuddler, modest, talkative, long-legged kicker send them my way!!!
It can't be that hard right ;)
Adah ("beautiful addition")
ReplyDeleteAddie ("beautiful/kind")

Alexander (Lexie / Alex) :)

What about Charlotte?
ReplyDeleteI love Adelle also. And call her Delle.
ReplyDeleteWhat about Brooklyn. It means beautiful, wonderful and grateful.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite girl name is Genevieve. She was the patron saint of Paris, and you could call her GiGi...
